10 Minute Craft Dash #3!!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!!

I've a super speedy card to share!!
LOVE 10 Minute Craft Dash challenges....Super Fun!!!
So here is my card with Challenge#3 colors..

9 Mins 10 Secs
I used Lawn Fawn  stamps for this card.... Chevron Backdrops , Flutter By and Lunar Lights(sentiment) sets!!
I got lots of queries and comments about these super fast less than 10 mins cards.
like...
How do you do it so quick??
Can't believe you did it under 10 mins!!!
Oh! I can do any thing like that so quick!!!
and many more..
Here are few TIPS or  rather you can say how I do this...

1. KEEP IT SUPER SIMPLE!!
2. Clearly think about your design before you start( its very important because once you start there not a single moment to waste)
3. Get all your supplies ready on the crafting surface. I prefer a larger table so there is enough space to work. I spread it like a Buffet....a craft buffet ;)
4. If you are planning to to lot of stamping(like I do) get quite a few acrylic blocks, mount stamps all at a time, use both side of the blocks, skip cleaning the stamps if possible, open all the required stamp pads together
( nothing will dry up within 4-5 minutes)
5. Try to save time where ever possible...like today for the Chevron Part, I inked half the border stamp with one color and other half with one more, as my piece of cardstock was only 2" wide , I saved time on cleaning stamps...these small things matter a lot;
6. Okay! About cleaning the stamps...I just keep two baby wipes folded on the table, when required I just tap my stamps on it and clean( just like you ink your stamps).
7. Always great to use adhesive back embellishments...its an Awesome time saver;
8. If you want to use foam adhesive...go for Foam Tape instead of pop dots as you can save a lot of time on removing the backing. I put two long strip of foam tape, thats it ...Super quick.

Hope this explains the process...
I'm not a Pro...so if you've some great tips Please share with us!
Its pretty much DOable...just give it a shot!

10 Minute Craft Dash!!!

Hello Friends!!

I came across a super fun NEW Challenge!!

Paulina of  PrettyPinkPosh.com started an Awesome challenge with her friend Ginny!!

We have to make a card within 10 minutes!!!
Fun! Fun! Fun!!
Here is my less than 10 minute card..

I finished this card in 8 minutes 42 secs......went with super CAS style.
First scored the cardbase at 51/2 " and then the place in needed the scoreline.
Cut a quick post it 2" mask and then randomly stamp the Technique Tuesday flower stamp.
Smashed( thats best word came up with) Distress ink stains on the center of the flowers.... I wanted to do it super quick and got some messy splatters :(
Removed the mask and stamped the sentiment(HeroArts).
Quickly drew some black lines and rounded the corner...Wow!!!

This card is for the following challenges..
10 Minutes Craft Dash: Challenge #1
Top Tip Tuesday: one layer card.

It was so much fun... I made one card too!!
But for this one I used a pre-cut piece so I'm not sure this counts as 10 minute card.
I finished this card in 9 minutes 53 secs.. very close one!!!
Now I had the off- white piece of cardstock scrap on my desk...which I used for cutting a circle earlier.
So I used the negative diecut piece and stamped HeroArts-Newspaper background on it!
Used another Cosmo Cricket scrap from Last SCRS preview card. Stamped the sentiment and adhered the off-white piece with foam dots! Tied the charm with Jute twine.
Most bad move was cutting the mustache...it came out lil' messy..but it works!!

This card is for the following challenges..
Creative Card Crew: Newsprint/Maps /scripts.
Paper and Such Design: Just stamp it out!
