Here is my take ...

I went with Dry embossing for my CAS card.

I used the GORGEOUS May Arts Ribbon today...just love the color!!

Pins are a mix...one is from Webster's pages and other is handmade by me using pearl stick pin( from Pizzazz Aplenty) , Studio Calico -Veneer butterfly and My Mind's Eye brad.

The sentiment brads is also From My Mind's Eye.

Here is my take on Neutrals challenge.. 

Just colored my image with some shades of brown, grey and skin tone Copics and white Prisma pencil.

I used Expecting Emily for my card today!

Minty Fresh Saturday!!!

Hello Everyone!!

 Hope you all have lots of plan for the long weekend! I'm sure it includes lots of sale and shopping!

I miss it a lot here...anyway I did a lil'  online crafty shopping ..

Today I've two Minty Fresh cards to share with you all!!

I love pastel shades...when I saw all lovely minty fresh inspiration pics over at Moxie Fab World, I knew I had to create something with that lovely color.

Somehow I didn't have a single thing in that color...sad , sad!!!

Finally yesterday while going thru all my stuff I found a Versamagic Dewdrop of Aquatic Splash...BINGO!

I heat embossed the flowers and sponged the ink with a sponge dauber. Used the the same ink to dye the white seam binding.

I used all  Lawn Fawn stamps for both my cards...gotta love publication Incentives!

 In the embellishment cluster I've Cosmo Cricket butterfly, Prima resin flower, pearl push pin, Jillibean soup sentiment banner and white crystal leaves.

A CAS take on the Minty Fresh challenge!

I again used the Flutter By set from Lawn Fawn...love it!

For background  I used the Chevron Backdrops from Lawn Fawn .

Heat embosssed the butterfly on vellum with white and gold EP. 

I'm planning on making few more of these layered butterflies and keep aside as pre-made embellishments.

Now did you see the cardbase...its a perfect match, isn't it??

Its actually a white cardbase and sponged the edges with Versamagic- Aquatic splash.

That one lil' dewdrop was a lifesaver!!
