Holiday Canvas!

Hello Everyone!!

.
Today I have a SEI Holiday Home decor to share with you all...

A canvas!!
I used Glimmering Boughs  collection and tumble dye sprays for this project.

I started with tearing up 12x12 paper and adhering few pieces on the canvas using Mod Podge.
As shown in this picture...
Then Applied a bit of Red and Green Tumble dye spray... diluted the spray with a bit of water and brushed it over the paper and canvas.

Embellished the canvas with a ll the beautiful diecut pieces from Glimmering Boughs collection.

I also added some Sequins and stickles for extra sparkle.

This was a very quick and easy project to do...and it will make a great gift !!

Hope you like this home decor idea!!

Are you ready??

Hello Everyone!!

I'm on DCWV blog today ..sharing a fun project!

I'm getting ready for the big day...Thanksgiving Dinner and my project is small step towards the big preparation...
Place tags... for the table!!!
I made few place tags and few mini frames for the table settings.

I used DCWV Cork, Chalkboard, Glitzy and Harvest House stacks for this project.

Super easy and fun project...

I used Spellbinders dies for the tag base and some diecut leaves as embellishments.
I also trimmed some foiled prints from 6x6 paper.
As its  a chalkboard, these tags can reused .
I used chalk to right the names.

I also made few mini frames...
I'm planning to give them as return gift with box of chocolates!!!

Hope you all like this fall project idea!!

It looks like Christmas!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!

I have one more beautiful Holiday project to share with you.

DCWV has designed most amazing  paper stack...I love it!!!
DIY Project CHRISTMAS VILLAGE stack.
Its a must have for holidays!!
I made a decor for craftroom!!!
It took me only 30 mins to make the whole thing without any die cutting machine or special tools.
 Its amazing, isn't it???
This stack comes with fabulous printed Christmas village house, which we need to cut and assemble.
The window frames are the precut , we just need poppit out from the sheet and adhere with liquid glue.
The deer is super cute!! Its a printed cardboard one, fits like puzzle pieces..easy peasy!!!
The beautiful tree is the same, punch it out and fit in , it stands on its own.

I embellished the wreath on the house with DCWV gemstones.
The banner is from new DIY Christmas Favor box stack.
I adhered the house, tree and deer a wooden plaque.
To create the snow scene, I applied glue and sprinkle fake snow on it.

Now comes the fun part...
My house lights up...yay!!!
I got a small string light from the Dollar tree and added it to inside of the house....just plug it in and its beautiful!!!
I wish I could get a better photo of the well lit house!

Here is how it looks in a dark room.

This will make a great holiday gift for someone.
I'm planning on making few of these , next time I build the scene on  the  top of DCWV nesting box lids, then I can tuck in some gifts inside the box and the recipient can use the box as home decor and keep small stuff in it.
H ope you like this holiday idea!!

Fall ....

Hello Everyone!!

I'm on DCWV blog today sharing a Fall project.
In our home we like to have a message board for all our invites, school forms, notes and all important little things.
I like to decorate the message board according seasons...so here is a Fall Themed one.

I'm so glad DCWV release the oversized stacks... it made this project to easy!!!
I used DCWV 16 x 20 Burlap Stack for the background...love the texture and color of the gray burlap. It was so easy , as one piece of the oversized burlap covered the whole entire 16 x 20  frame, no joining , no seam .
I added a foam board behind this burlap so we can use push pin to attach the papers or messages.
Also sponged some inks using DCWV 12 x 12 stencils.

I also used 11 x17 Double sided printed -Heirloom stack , accordian folded it and adhered it.
For the beautiful leaves I used digital cut file from The Cut Shoppe and DCWV-The Glided stack , one my favorite.
Love the gold foiling on this papers , I also used Mariposa stack for one of my leaves.
In addition to papers, I added few things from our backyard, real acorns, pine cones and a sprig.
I sprayed the pine cones with Gold spray.

To finish off I added paper embellishment I made from the gold foiled paper and cardstock.
This project is very pretty in reals but it was very hard to capture in the photograph.
Hope you like the project idea!!!

This project is for the following challenges...
Creative Corner - Anything but card.
Not Just Cards -  Anything Goes.
Simply Papercraft -  Anything Goes.

Today I have a fun project to share with you.
I used new Patriotic Picnic collection for my project.
This collection is fabulous...have a ton of lovely embellishments..love it!

I'm also a quilter and always like the idea of sampler quilts, so I created a Sampler Frame to showcase all the different embellishments and patterns of this collection.

The mini pinwheels are awesome, super quick and easy to assemble.
I love the Sequin star garland, all the work is done for us we just need to add it to any project.

The Red White and blue star printed vellum is super cute, I used a star punch to make some vellum star  embellishments.
This collection comes with a very wide variety of Washi Tapes & Sprinkles,
The Red , white and Blue Pixies Asst. are simply amazing! Love the Red , White and Blue twine!!
