PTI Feb 2014 Bloghop!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

Today I'm joining in for the PTI Feb2014 Bloghop.

I've a super busy day ahead, so I made a quick card before I hit the road.

Love the new PTI goodies...didn't wanna miss the chance to play with them.

This month's theme is ... SWEET SPRING.

I would like to apologize in advance for the poor photography, my camera went bad, I'm using my iphone for the time being.

The card is very shiny in real...

I used the new PTI Garden Grace stamp set....its super easy to layer & stamp.

That set is great for quick stamping...so detailed yet easy to stamp!!!!

 

I used Heidi Swapp's Butterfly stencil as a mask and sponged the area with Distress ink...then stamped the floral image over it.

Its kind of like vintage postcard look...

 As you all know I'm totally into gold trend now...so added few splatters of Heidi Swapp Gold color shine...love that stuff!!!

Also added a bit of vellum and gold glitter paper ...and some stitching.

AEi♥u Challenge#1!!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!!

Did you see Avery Elle stamps started a new challenge??

Their 1st challenge theme is Birthday.

Today I have fun card and gift card holder for this challenge...

This project is more FUN than the usual gift card holders.

For the top card part I used Glitz papers and Avery Elle- Oh Yeah and Simple Tags:Christmas sets.

The inside looks like this.... 

You can right the personalized message on the inner panel.

I used We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to make this vellum envy gift card holder.

To make I fun and festive, I added lots of sequins and heart diecut confetti inside with the gift card.

Its kind of like mini album ...the recipient used this envy as photo keeper  or memory keeper.

I used a binder ring to hold them together. 

The tag diecut is from Reverse Confetti. 

Embellished the cardfront with few enamel dots and May Arts ribbon.

I love this project...will make few more in  future.

I created my background by selectively sponging distress ink on Hero Arts stencil.

The dotted border stamp is from Mama Elephant ( I adpoted this set from Amy).

The thanks die is from Simon Says Stamps....love it!!

Cure for the Monday Blues!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

I finally made a card for Taheerah's Cure for the Monday Blues challenge...

She started a fun inspirational challenge to give us a lil' crafty boost to start our week.

I'm not a MONDAY fan...I can use some great inspirational push always.

This week's pic is Awesome...they always are but I didn't get a chance to play .

Before I say what inspired me from this pic...I would like to share my card with you all.

Now how I designed this card....

I picked the soft colors

I picked simple rectangles shapes of the frames 

There were many frames so I added few layers

One of the frame had a red floral bush so that's my inspiration for the focal image.

One of the frame had a message in capital letters...so I picked the sentiment with capital font.

There are cross stitched heart frames...so I used some thread in my creation.

I used a heart too!!!

Finally added some enamel dots for the bright lil' 3-d elements in the picture.

WOW!!! Tons of stuff in that simple pic...isn't it???

I used new stamps and dies from Paper Smooches.

Floral Stamp is from PS- Botanicals 2 set... ♥ this set!!

The sentiment is from PS- Many Thanks set.

My new favorite border dies are PS-Borders 2 dies.

The gorgeous ink is from Avery Elle...have to get all the colors, they are amazing!!

Today I'm super excited to be the Guest Designer CAS.OLOGY challenge...

After I won week #81 challenge, Melissa invited me to be their GDT this week...YAY!!!!

This week's theme is super fun!!!

Here is my card for this week's theme....

I used some of my new crafty goodies for this card. 

The stamp set and the gorgeous inks are from Avery Elle.

Loooooooooove AE inks, they are simply amazing!!!

Lately ,I loving the use of glitter cardstock ...so added a layer of  silver glitter paper .

Second generation stamping really creates a great jumping motion...what do you think???

 Playing along with CASual Fridays Challenge today....

CFC#128: Long card with Farewell theme.

I'm not good with goodbyes or farewells...so I went it " You Are Amazing Friend" sentiment and a symbolic fluttering butterfly  for the going away part.

I used Fancy Pants-Park Bench papers+stickers and a flair from The Sweet Stamp Shop.

Also added few splatters of Heidi Swapp gold color shine...super shiny stuff, love it!!

Today I'm sharing a few valentine cards I made ...didn't post on my blog .

One of my favorite Valentine collection this year is the Fancy Pants- Be Loved .

Loooove the non-traditional mix of colors...not only just pink and reds... absolutely gorgeous!!!

My cards today don't have any stamping on it, I ♥ making these types of simple & quick cards.

First up is a trendy card....

Triangles and Gold  are super trendy!!!

I'm totally loving the gold trend lately...a lil' sparkle makes everything better.

Love these colors...pretty!!

All diecuts are from the same Fancy Pants- Be Loved collection, just added a bit of stitching, vellum and few enamel dots.

A quick post today sharing a cute project!

I used Reverse Confetti- Arrow die to make this bookmark.

Its super easy to make...

I cut two of the arrow diecuts out of glitter cardstock and glued them together half the way.

Then added a heart charm.

Quick and fun project!!!

I did a lot of stamping on this background...I love to use my holiday stamps all year long.

For background I used stripe border and stars from POD- This Is December set.

Hello And Happy Monday Everyone!!

Today I've a cute non- card project to share with you....

...its for the Paper Smooches 3rd Anniversary challenge.

Both my girls love to read, so I made a bookmark pocket for Valentine's Day!

The pocket is perfect for a little note or  mini candy bar.

 The bookmark die and the stamps are from Paper Smooches.

Love that snowman/woman set!!

The cute valentine themed papers are from DoodleBug designs.

The pink/red twine is from Timeless Twine.

I did a bit of stitching, paper-piecing , coloring and some diecutting ....lots of fun stuff!!!

I love how it turned out...I think its super cute!!!

Valentine!!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!!

I'm having lots of fun playing along with all lovely challenges this week...

Today I've a card for CAS(E) This Sketch  & The Card Concept...

I love Heidi Swapp products....color shines are my favorite.I used Heidi Swapp Layered stencil for my focal piece...the heart!!.

I created the ombre effect with two colors of Color Shine... Primrose & Blush.

The FAB sentiment is from Winnie & Walter stamps....♥ the font!!!

Heat embossed the HAPPY sentiment with gold EP and the rest with white EP.

Colored the reverse side of vellum sentiment tag with Copics to match the ombre heart.

 Clean & simple with a punched glitter heart and few splatters!

So this card falls under The CAS style.
