I'm honored to be the Guest Designer over at Card Patterns this week.

I love sketch challenges and Card Patterns is one of favorite sketch challenge blog...

Here is my take on Sketch #39

Its been a lucky week ..I also recieved Huge package from Justrite Stampers ..full of fabulous Justrite stamp as a prize for my win at CPS...here is a peek of what I got..

So I used my first Justrite Stamps for this week's CP sketch...colored it with Distress Ink .

The lovely DP is from Making Memories "Mistletoe collection" and it worked perfectly with Bo Bunny Papers.

Check it out I have done some hand stitching on this one...I can make dresses but I can't stitch on papers...lol.

Feature Friday Challenge.....

Its Friday!!! Tomorrow is Halloween...Everyone in my home is super excited about it....

Today I have a super busy day....have to create a few cards, bake brownies and cookies....

before I get busy with it..let me share with you a fun card...

Today I got the wonderful opportunity to host The Character Cafe Feature-friday-challenge and the challenge is

WITCHES BREW

You have to make a non-halloween card using ONLY paper from Halloween stack and glitter...lots of glitter...you all know I love fine glitter so didn't miss the chance to use it...lol.

Its a great way to use our Halloween scraps...

I used the paper from Recollections Halloween stack and " Cupcake Pewter" for a birthday card.

Building Snowman....

I used  Basic grey "Eskimo Kisses"  for it.....trying to work on my Copic coloring Skills :o)

Today I got this fabulous MS Punch set...and I had to use it..lol...I love to use new craft stuff.

Snow Globe.....

Hi All!!!

Its the last week of this month...so I'm getting ready for  another Sassystudiodesigns' New release..

Here is one of my fave from the forthcoming release....

Its a SNOW GLOBE card template...cool thing is that I can make two at a time with the template...the image is also from SSD~~ " First Snow"..love it.

I made a shaker card...like we shake the snow globe...

IT'S FALL Y'ALL

So you get it ..you have to create a fabulous Fall project... Fall is the best time of the year colorwise...so I made a simple card with few fall colors in it..

I used the Cosmo Cricket ~ nutmeg collection for it. Always liked a big bow on  cards...but I'm not so great with bows..but finally I got it right..I  think so!!

The lovely leaf stamp is from Michaels..embossed with gold and trimmed it.

The sentiment is from Studio G.

Yesterday, I found this beautiful Winter background stamp at Michaels. Just simply embossed red stock with white embossing powder.... and used lovely Bo Bunny Paper for background.

A simple holiday card.

Hello Everyone!!!

Now one quick post..before my daughter's school bus comes...

This week  at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long...they have a very cute challenge and very useful one too. We all need Tags for Christmas gift..don't we??

So came up quick & easy tags....

I used super cute "Stewie Snowman" from The Character Cafe but I colored the Snow Person as girl and boy to make all the kids happy..

Its super easy because of the nestabilities pendant die , I got it recently from Die cuts r us...really Claudia carrys a great variety of scrap products.

Hope you all like it...I will quickly run to the busstop now..I will be back later with more cards..until then happy crafting

This super Yummy image is from Whimsiedoodles...just love it. I colored the way I make my gingerbread cookies ...with dark brown sugar..little dark :o)

Tealight holder card....

Hello Everyone!!!

Today I have a 3-in 1 project for you all.

Its a place card ...tea light holder and at the end of the party guest can take home as a personalized goody.So what it is....first let me honestly tell you that you may find a better tutorial somewhere..but I didn't find any but I saw something like it few months ago and tried to make one ..and thats how I came up with this tutorial..

:::::::::::::::Supplies:::::::::::::::::

2 ~ 4" x 8" cardstock , a 5"x5" piece of vellum( I used frosted sheet), scissors, adhesive, battery tea light ,

an image ...I used SASSY PUMPKIN from Sassystudiodesigns  and any emb. you like.

Score one cardstock at 4" and fold it...it will make the card base..

Score the second one at 2",4" and 6" ...as shown in the picture...

Fold it in valley and mountain folds....like this

Now you can use any diecut shape if you want or simply cut a square out in middle like I did...I left approx. 3/4" inch space from the top and the bottom ...

save the cutout piece for later.... Adhere a piece of vellum or frosted sheet on the wrong sideto cover up the cutout space...

apply adhesive to the flat pannels in this picture only and adhere it to the inside of the card base like this....

Now its almost ready...decorate it as you like...I used alpha stickers for LINDSAY's name...She created this wonderful image..so its for her.

A piece of ribbon and a sentiment for inside....

Place the battery operated tea light inside for safety....

Its the front of card...its folds well and fits into 4.25" x 4.25" envelope easily.

I used the cutout square piece on the front ....

Fall Centerpiece....

Hello Everyone!!!

I just made a fall centerpiece for our table......Wanted share with you all....

Lets start with the Supplies..

Just a few things.... a glass container, candy corn, Raffia ( you can get it in the craft store/ walmart),harvest ribbons(wired),glue dots, scissors, popsicle sticks and SASSY PUMPKIN image from SSD.

Then roll the raffia into a coil form and place it inside the glass container....

pour the candy corn on it.

Next cut the ribbon into 12" pieces...about 5-6 of them...wrap on something like long candle...

unwrap and pull on it to give a coiled look like this....

I printed 2 pumpkin images at largest size...10" wide I think.Then use any coloring media to color it.

Trim it closely...so that the stems curl up...it gives a cool look.

Then fix the pumpkin cutout on popsicle sticks with a tape and ahdere another pumpkin image on the back..

So everybody on all side of table see the same...lol.

Finally fix the pumpkin with the sticks in the center of the container....

Easy , Peasy centerpiece for your table is ready......

Its a happy happy day for me.....a wonderful challenge and big win at The Pink Elephant challenge. Finally I got the TPE winner blinkie.
